The Oralflo™ Pill Swallowing Cup is easy to use and was specifically designed to help people who have difficulty swallowing pills. Doctors, nurses, speech pathologists, hospitals, caregivers, adults, and children age 4 and above appreciate the simplicity of the cup’s design. It is as easy as drinking water.
Step 1
Remove the lid and fill the cup only 1/2 full with water or your favorite juice. Never fill through the mouth piece, which must be kept dry.
Step 2
Place the lid securely onto the cup.
Step 3
Place the pill in the mouth piece. The pill sits above the liquid on a special grill built into the lid.
Step 4
Drink naturally from the cup. The medication and the liquid enter the mouth
at the same time, preventing the medication from sticking to your tongue. The angled mouth piece allow you to swallow the pill and water together without tilting you head backwards. This is especially helpful if you suffer from neck pain or have limited mobility.
